Vancouver-Based Baby Essential Brand numpfer Celebrates Turning Four with Addition of 'The Genius

Towel' to Organic Bib and Blanket Lineup

Vancouver, BC - numpfer celebrates their fourth anniversary of keeping little ones stylish, comfortable and dry in the brand's line of innovative multi-use bibs, blankets, crib sheets and bonnets with launch of new towel. What started at founder, Sarah Robbins, kitchen table has now grown into a staple brand carried by over sixty stores, a thriving online shop, and an annual charity event, Sip and Savour, supporting BC Women's Hospital.  The Genius Towel  'The Genius Towel' is the latest addition to the numpfer line-up. Families are sure to love a towel that can snuggle children at every stage and grow with them from newborn to preschooler. What makes a genius towel? The double hood design allows for ultimate post-bath swaddle comfort keeping little heads and feet warm in each pocket. When babies grow into toddlers, the double hoods can be used as hand pockets to allow those independent little people to wrap themselves in a big hug. 'The Genuis Towel' is made from a super-soft hypoallergenic, bamboo, organic cotton blend terry cloth. This blend is softer than 100% organic cotton and delivers a cashmere like feel to babies soft skin. The luxurious fabric is perfect for sensitive, eczema or allergy prone skin as it is highly absorbent and wicks away moisture from the skin keeping little ones drier and more comfortable. The breathable, silky-soft fabric with anti-bacterial and odor resistant properties is also temperature regulating keeping babies comfortable in any type of weather.  Product details: sized at 30 inches x 30 inches, made in Canada with 70% rayon from organic bamboo and 30% organic cotton.

'The Genius Towel' is available for purchase online only and can be found here Bibs and Blankets numpfer has grown to be loved and trusted by families worldwide because of its beautifully soft, functional, multi-use bibs and blankets made from luxurious organic fabrics. Created with the needs of baby's delicate skin in mind, the stylish bibs work triple duty, standing in as both burp cloths and wash cloths. The minimalist blanket is perfect for swaddling, cuddling and life-on-the-go with baby. The ultra absorbent, organic bamboo cotton blend keeps baby clean, dry, cozy and stylish.  The innovative side-tie design of the numpfer bib invites caregivers to tie it without fussing behind baby's delicate neck. The simple, full coverage design betters other bibs on the market by meeting the messy challenges of milk, drool, spills and spit up before it reaches the back of the neck or baby's cute folds under the chin and neck.  To learn more about numpfer or shop their products, visit numpfer.com. Sip and Savour The inception of  Sip and Savour arose from numpfer founder Sarah Robbin's desire to give back to the BC Women's Newborn ICU. Sarah's own baby daughter, Charlotte, spent her first three days of life here. Sarah's experience at BC Women's Newborn ICU led to another gift. Sarah observed that the design of the absorbent washcloths the nurses used as bibs could be improved to enhance babies' comfort. "The market did not supply bibs that provided full coverage, resulting in a very wet outfit." says Robbins'. "Once home I couldn't find the functional, absorbent, soft yet stylish bib I was searching for - and so I created multi use super soft bibs to enhance the babies comfort - and numpfer was born."   The last two years of this inaugural event was a monumental success, demonstrating the incredible power of community and raising almost $100,000 to purchase a critically needed phototherapy system for newborns suffering from jaundice and a much needed incubator. Past years of Sip and Savour were hosted by CTV news anchor and long-time NICU supporter, Tamara Taggart. Event-goers have "sipped and savoured" from some of Vancouver's top food and drinks from acclaimed restaurants like Hawksworth, Minami, Fable, The Mackenzie Room, The Acorn, TUC Craft Kitchen, Juke Fried Chicken and many more. A silent auction featuring more than 75 items from the best small businesses around B.C. further entice and delight our guests - all for an incredibly worthy cause. Mark your calendar!
