Chef Ned Bell and the Pacific Toyota Dealers Partner to Celebrate Sustainable Living with the All-New 2026 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid
Two Exclusive Contests Offer British Columbians a Chance to Dine with Chef Ned Bell

Vancouver, B.C. - Chef Ned Bell and the Pacific Toyota Dealers are once again joining forces to champion sustainability, community, and the joy of good food with the launch of the fully redesigned 2026 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid.
In celebration of this collaboration, Toyota and Ned are offering two exciting chances to win through CTV and Daily Hive, where lucky winners will enjoy a private dinner for four prepared by Chef Ned Bell and receive a $500 gift card to fill their kitchens with fresh B.C. ingredients.
A Vehicle Designed for Every Adventure
The 2026 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid blends bold design with exceptional efficiency. With up to 72 kilometres of all-electric range and a combined range of up to 962 kilometres on a full charge and tank, it offers the flexibility to tackle daily commutes, weekend getaways, and everything in between with confidence and style.
With its lighter frame, lower stance, and striking new design, the Prius Plug-In Hybrid proves that sustainable performance does not compromise on power or presence. Inside, the cabin features cutting-edge technology and intuitive controls for a smooth, connected driving experience.
“My Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid is sharp looking, quick, and incredibly efficient,” says Chef Ned Bell. “I spend my days running around the city and across the Fraser Valley visiting kitchens, farms, and fishers, and the Prius handles it all with ease. It’s right-sized for my busy lifestyle as a chef and dad.”
“What I love most is how little fuel I use. The cost savings are amazing, and in a world where every penny counts, that efficiency makes a real difference,” adds Bell. “For anyone who’s ever worried about charging, the Prius Plug-In gives you the best of both worlds. A few minutes of planning and you’re set, and Toyota’s hybrid technology takes care of the rest.”
A Celebration of Local Food and Sustainability

Known for his dedication to sustainable seafood and local ingredients, Ned continues to lead with purpose in and out of the kitchen. Through this collaboration, he will highlight how everyday choices, from the meals we cook to the cars we drive, can make a lasting impact on our planet.
“The choices we make every day, like what we drive and what we eat, have a collective effect on the future,” says Bell. “Small steps, taken together, create real change.”
To complement the campaign, Ned is debuting his Wild Pacific Halibut, Squash and Coconut Curry recipe, a reflection of the Prius Plug-In Hybrid’s emphasis on sustainable choices and smart, efficient living.
