Tourism Consulting

From working with Canada a la Carte and the BC Wine Institute, Kate expanded her portfolio by overseeing travel and trade media for Tourism Vancouver in the build up to hosting the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Global travels, relationship building and invaluable experiences, including co-creating Dine Out Vancouver, led her to branch out on her own to represent destinations, wineries, luxury hotels, chefs, ingredients and festivals under her agency, Colley Communications - now rebranded as Hatch Comms.

Kate's latest projects includes an exciting, hands-on role as an operating partner in the reimagined Naramata Inn, and lead strategist for Discover Naramata in her role as Board President. Kate and Krista enjoy using all the skills in their toolkit to strengthen and support destinations, to enhance their storytelling and inspire thoughtful growth to the benefit of residents, businesses and visitors.
